RESPORT ACADEMY

Resport Akademi was designed as a non-commercial, multi-purpose space that can transform according to need. It functions simultaneously as an academy kitchen, a hub where Resport Catering gathers during events, and a venue for meetings. At the heart of the design is a transparent kitchen enclosed in oval glass, resembling a bell jar. Used for new tastings, recipe trials and training sessions, this kitchen becomes a stage on which invited companies can observe the entire process. The green planting suspended above the kitchen, white ceramic surfaces and warm-toned lighting reinforce the focal point of the space. In the choice of materials, copper tones were used extensively to represent traditional Turkish cuisine. This warm bronze hue forms a balanced whole together with wooden panels, light-colored flooring and an exposed ceiling that retains its industrial character. The existing columns were concealed with copper-toned stainless steel and large-format porcelain cladding, while the unused gaps between columns and walls were transformed into glass display units showcasing special plates and pieces. Tall doors designed to emphasize the high ceiling enhance the sense of spaciousness, while wide windows running along the façade bring city views inside. Alongside the fixed furniture, movable tables allow the space to adapt easily to different scenarios; during events, additional tables can be set up to prepare the space for dinners and receptions. The lounge area with its seating group creates an intermediate space for more intimate meetings, while the enclosed meeting room, with its wooden panels and illuminated niches, offers a calmer, more focused atmosphere. In the wet areas, custom-designed tiles together with backlit stone surfaces complete the project's detail-oriented design language.
